My Pink Scarf, Inc. is a non-profit organization that provides knitted or crocheted pink scarves to cancer survivors.  The organization was started in October of 2006 after Tara Lacher watched three family members battle cancer.  Little did she know she would be diagnosed with cancer a year later.  My Pink Scarf, Inc. has given out nearly 10,000 scarves to cancer survivors in 35 states and 14 countries and there are currently over 1,000 women on a waiting list.
