Shut Eye is a darkly comedic look at the world of Los Angeles storefront psychics and the 2,000-year-old history of belief and fraud behind them. The story revolves around Charlie Haverford, a con man psychic whose worldview is rocked when he begins to have real visions.

David Zayas plays Eduardo, a second-generation Mexican-American and successful businessman who comes to Charlie (Jeffrey Donovan) for psychic help and spiritual guidance. A family man on the surface, Eduardo struggles with the street life he’s tied to, which severely tests his budding friendship with Charlie.
