The Total Tutor Neil Haley will interview Wendie Malick of Just Shoot Me & “Hot in Cleveland” She will discuss her guest-starring role as Katy Mixon’s mom on the Thanksgiving episode “American Housewife,” airing TUESDAY, Nov. 22. 

For seven seasons on “Just Shoot Me!,” Wendie Malick starred as Nina Van Horn, the outrageous ex-model and fashion editor, garnering one Emmy and two Golden Globe Award nominations. She then joined the cast of “Frasier” for their final season as Ronee Lawrence. Recently, Malick played a five-time divorced, former soap opera star, in the series “Hot in Cleveland,” alongside Valerie Bertinelli, Jane Leeves and Betty White. Other series include “Big Day,” “Good Company” and “Dream On,” which earned four CableACE Awards. She has guest starred on CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION, on the Network, “The X-Files,” “LA Law,” “NYPD Blue,” “Seinfeld,” “Cybil” and “Law & Order,” among others. She has starred in many movies for television including “Take My Advice,” playing both Ann Landers and Abby Van Buren, “Hello Sister,” “Goodbye Life,” “Will You Merry Me?,” “Apollo 11,” “Dynasty: The Reunion,” “Paper Dolls” and “North Shore Fish,” in a role she originated on stage.
