The Total Tutor Neil Haley will interview LaMonica Garrett of  ABC's "Designated Survivor".

This year LaMonica can be seen co-starring opposite Keifer Sutherland on ABC’s highly anticipated, political drama “Designated Survivor.”  The series centers on Tom Kirkman (Sutherland), a lower-level U.S. Cabinet member who suddenly is appointed President of the United States after a catastrophic attack during the State of the Union kills everyone above him in the presidential line of succession.  LaMonica shines as Ritter, Kirkman’s Secret Service officer, charged with protecting the Kirkman family in the wake of the unprecedented bombing.

Aside from “Designated Survivor” LaMonica has had an exciting 2016, recurring on Michael Bay and TNT’s “The Last Ship,” as TAO Cameron Burk.  He also starred in the short film “The Duke,” which premiered at The Tribeca Film Festival and tells the story of J.P. Duke (Garrett) who has suffered multiple concussions but still believes he can make it back to the NFL.  LaMonica may be best known for his role on FX’s critically acclaimed series “Sons of Anarchy.”  He appeared on the show from 2011-14 as Deputy Sheriff Cane, the contemplative right hand man to Lieutenant Sheriff Eli Roosevelt [Rockmond Dunbar].
