The Total Tutor Neil Haley will interview Author Mary Jean Teachman. She will Discuss Her Latest Blog

ARTICLE IN THE DETROIT PRESS, 2-16-1988, WRITTEN BY FORREST

This is my story about losing my son, Arthur Forrest Tull, when he was 37 years old to suicide. He had a troubled life from the time he was struck with bipolar disease at the age of 15, and then at the age of 18 he started to self medicate, which ultimately resulted in a drug addiction. After he left guilt hung around me like a dark cloud and I was in despair.

I was fortunate to meet great healers along my journey. They held my hand and guided me through rocky waters to a sea of peace and happiness. My greatest influence, Renata Moore, reconnected me to my son and loved ones on the other side. I had conversations with them and received invaluable advice and tools on how to overcome the guilt, agony and ultimately to accept my loss. I know now that I didn’t lose my son, he resides in my heart and on the other side. He changed from a physical to a spiritual son.

After the suicide of my son, Forrest, I needed to change the rhythm of my life in order to escape the grief and despair. I proceeded on a spiritual path that eventually led to peace and happiness. My journey is chronicled in my book.
