With his nuanced and masculine style Dorian Missick is proving to be one of entertainment’s most engaging actors to watch.
 
Up next, Missick will next be seen as ‘Gemini Moon’ the male lead in the BET series "Zoe Ever After” opposite Brandy Norwood. The show centers on a newly single mom stepping out of the shadow of her famous boxer husband (Missick).  The multi-camera comedy  premiered on January 5th.
 
Missick gained recognition when he starred in two seasons of the critically-acclaimed, TNT series, "Southland" as ‘Detective Ruben Robinson.’   Other series regular roles includes NBC's drama "The Cape," JJ Abrams' "Six Degrees," along with guest spots on AMC's "Better Call Saul" SyFy’s “Haven” and HBO's "The Brink.”
 
On the big screen, Missick is currently in production on “As Evil Does” where be serves as both star and producer. The independent thriller is scheduled for a mid-2016 release.  Other film credits include "Annie,”  "Deliver Us From Evil”, "Big Words,”"Mooz-Lum,” “Two Weeks’ Notice," "Lucky Number Slevin," "The Manchurian Candidate" and a starring role opposite Zoe Saldana in "Premium.”
 
Additionally, Missick is no stranger to the stage as he starred off-Broadway in the Pulitzer-prize winning drama "A Soldier's Play" opposite Anthony Mackie and Taye Diggs.
 
Dorian lives in both in New York and Los Angeles where he is a popular DJ under his alias Tailwind Turner.
