ABOUT TRACE EMBRY 

Trace Embry is the founder and Executive Director of Shepherd’s Hill Academy--a Christ-centered therapeutic wilderness-style program and school for troubled teenagers, located just north of Atlanta, GA.   Along with being a former police officer, Trace is a conference speaker, blogger, author and parenting expert.  He also hosts the nationally syndicated radio program, License to Parent--a program specifically focused on equipping parents with biblical tools and insights for today’s culture.  Trace has been married to his wife, Beth, for 35 years with whom he is the father of 3 sons and two daughters.
