As horrific as mass shootings are, they often serve to unite communities, even the nation, going forward.Uniting in memory of Sergeant Ron Helus and doing good work in his honor, is the outcome of the terrible November 8, 2018 mass shooting at the Borderline Bar & Grill in Thousand Oaks. Twelve people lost their lives that evening, including the initial first responder on the scene, Sergeant Helus. The 2nd Annual Ron Helus Rally, hosted by the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office and Ventura County Fire Department in collaboration with Rusnak Westlake Porsche, will be held on Sunday, August 7, 2022. Leading the tribute rally will be a specially-wrapped 2022 Porsche 911.
