Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority National Education Fund, Inc. (NEF) seeks to remove barriers for those who are most deserving by providing access to scholarships, leadership development and community enhancement programs. NEF is dedicated to helping each person achieve his or her dreams by opening the doors to the future. The mission of NEF is 1) Provide scholarship aid to students with financial need from all backgrounds,  2) Conduct educational programs, workshops, symposiums, and forums that enhance quality of life. The sorority has allocated over 1 Million $$of  NEF to students! 

Juanita Love is the current President and CEO of the Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority National
Education Fund, Inc. and serves as chair of the Trustee Board
Nadine Dillanado is Vice President of the National Education Fund has been responsible for the
financial management aspects. .

 Past recipiants of NEF

Dr. Chevonne Herring Alston - is a  graduate of the Florida Agricultural & Mechanical
University (FAMU) School of Business. She earned her Ph.D. from Ole Miss. Chevonne is currently an
Assistant Professor at Governors State University.  Chevonne is a member of S.G.R. Sorority, Inc.
Dr. Mark Ogunsusi – is an attorney in the Healthcare practice group Powers Pyles Sutter & Verville.  In addition to Mark’s legal degree, he is a Doctor of Pharmacyand primarily assists safety-net healthcare providers that serve our Nation’s underpriveliged.

Beverly Westbrook – is a doctoral student at Clark Atlanta University Whitney M. Young, Jr.
School of Social Work…her long-term plan is to teach and conduct research in the areas of
Juvenile Justice, education, and financial education. Beverly is a member of S.G.R.  Sorority, Inc.
