DIANE MITCHELL HENRY The founder of the Women’s Group of Greater Los Angeles County (WGGLAC). We must begin embracing knowledge and understanding of our ancestors’ journeys and seeking factual information about the issues at hand contribute to empowerment. RAVEN MORGAN is a Los Angeles, CA native. Her contribution toward cultivating healthier and more sustainable communities is in the realm of health and wellness. Raven is an entrepreneur/founder of, BalanceThankYou, a community which she teaches mindful breathing. Raven is also passionate about influencing good public policy specifically through her engagement with International Black Women’s Public Policy Institute, interning for Senator Kamala Harris and homeless housing initiatives. 

ASHLEY PERKINS I created the Perks of Wellness after my trip to Puerto Rico with an aim to build community and create space to promote independence. The goal is that the more the community can function within itself around wellness, which includes diet, exercise, gardening, hygiene, spirituality, etc; then the less the community will need government assistance. 

The ORACLE, is a published author, motivational speaker, actor, singer, spoken word artist, poet, well known as a healer in the field of massage therapy. Asked what motivated her so to pursue such a wide range of interests and she answers, “My father always said ‘anything worth doing is worth doing well. And anything you put your time and effort into, you may as well get credentialed’
