Arnedra Jordan, public health consultant Susan G. Komen Los Angeles County

Arnedra Jordan works as a public health consultant with both Susan G. Komen Los Angeles County and with the Center for Disease Control and Prevention. At Komen, Arnedra manages the Circle of Promise initiative, a program that addresses the barriers and disparities and breast health needs among African American women. Through her leadership, Komen Los Angeles has successfully provided over 3,000 mammograms at no cost to women in need in the last two years. As part of this consulting work, Arnedra links women to preventive health care and social resources and motivates African American women to access screening mammograms. On behalf of Komen, she also works to identify opportunities for the development of strategic alliances and forms key partnerships with organizations to enhance their ability to influence healthcare, community programs, and public policy.
