Polly's journey :This story is about the power of love, and how it has carried our family, our children, and my husband and me through the winds and storms, the highs and lows, and the uncertainties and unknowns of our lives with cancer for these many years. Living with metastatic breast cancer has shown us the meaning and transformative capacity of love and compassion. It has demonstrated that such gifts work in both directions, too, for as others care for us, we also reach out to care for those that we can help -- to share the experience and to be there in good times and bad. komen
