Denise V. Estelle, CEO of Honor Thy Father Awards Dinner, ML & Mr. Kennedy

Denise V. Estelle was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. She graduated from Crenshaw High School, and soon attended California State University of Northridge. She continued her education at Windsor University receiving her B.A. Degree where she graduated with honors.
In 2001 she founded a program called ‘Senior Circuit” which provided services to the Senior Citizens in her immediate area. She facilitated this program by providing them transportation to the store, the doctor’s office, the pharmacy and the library. In 2009 she founded the "Wooli Me" Natural Hair Expo & Conference, which was the first natural hair expo and conference for Los Angeles. Ms. Estelle is also the CEO of Estelle for Humanity, a 501c3 Organization that produces events every year that educates and inspire! She is the creator of the Honor Thy Father Awards Dinner, an annual event that takes place every Father’s Day, honoring the unsung fathers and male mentors in the community. In 2009 the HTF Awards Dinner was covered by ABC Channel 7, and CBS Channel 2.
Going into its 15th year, the Honor Thy Father Awards has acknowledged close to 200 men consisting of fathers, husbands, mentors and role models.
Estelle for Humanity made history 4 years in a row by acknowledging the HTF Honoree’s at the Staples Center (Los Angeles, CA) in front of thousands. It was the very first time at the Staples Center that men stood in front of thousands of people to be recognized for their contributions as fathers and mentors. In 2005 Denise V. Estelle was the 3rd Division Marshall for the Martin Luther King Jr. Parade in Los Angeles.
