Good morning. Today, on The Meter, we will cover the week's long Democrat National Convention where Kamala Harris accepted her Party's nomination on Thursday. Dozens of speakers took the podium and gave their pitch why Kamala Harris should be the president of the United States. The theme is very simple Donald Trump is dangerous, and big-government is the answer. Harris proposed a 6 trillion dollar tax increase, pledged to support Israel, and to help the people of Gaza. In Harris' 37-minute speech, she mentioned Donald Trump 15 times but hardly cited any of her own accomplishments during the last 4 years. Did Kamala Harris make her case to be the 47th President? Also, in a stunning development, Democrat Robert F. Kennedy Jr. suspended his third-party campaign and endorsed Republican nominee Donald Trump. Kennedy joined Trump in jammed packed stadium in Arizona and lambasted his Democrat Party for censorship, foreign wars, and failures on children. Kennedy urged his supporters to vote for Trump, particularly in battleground states. Trump euphorically accepted Kennedy's endorsement. How will this new outcome affect the presidential race? Also, Israel and Hezebollah are exchanging rocket fire on the Lebanon-Israeli border as the Middle East War shows no end in sight. 100 Israeli jets hit targets in Southern Lebanon in the largest air operation since the attack on Israel on October 7, 2023. As civilian casualties mount, how will the war play on the minds of American voters on November 5th. Please join the discussion at 10AM. The call-in number is. Your input is essential.
