Phoenix and Philadelphia have become the most recent incidents where 4 were killed and a more than a dozen wounded. The Uvalde massacre is still fresh on the American psyche as the victims were laid to rest in tearful ceremonies this week. The question is will more regulation, demonization of the Gun Lobby, and blaming the NRA the solution or is this a far deeper problem rooted in family, responsibility, and culture? The baby formula shortage has reached staggering desperation as mothers are traveling to Mexico to find food for their infants. International shipments also arrived admist the US shortage. Abbott Nutrition announced they will reopen their Michigan plant after the Biden administration forced their recent shutdown. Is their a serious risk to the health of American babies because of the shortage? Former Trump advisor Peter Navarro was arrested this week for refusing to cooperate with the January 6th committee. Navarro was intercepted at an airport, cuffed, leg ironed, and led away. Navarro is charged with contempt of Congress. The January 6th committee is being criticized by some for not following the proper Congressional rules for forming committees. Navarro has pledged his continual defiance. Is this an attempt to intimidate Trump officials? Also, gas prices have hit another record high as prices nationally are approaching $5/ gallon. Joe Biden said there's no end in sight and increasing US production is not on the solution list. Biden is traveling to Saudia Arabia this week to ask to Saudis to increase production.
