Good morning, today on The Meter, we will cover the verdict in the Kyle Rittenhouse trial. After deliberating for 4 days the jury found Rittenhouse NOT GUILTY on all 5 counts. Rittenhouse, then 17 was perused and attacked by a mob of protesters in the aftermath of the police wounding of Jacob Blake in Kenosha, WI. The defense claimed self defense and the jury agreed. What do you think of the jury's decision? The US House of Representatives passed the $1.9T Build Back Better spending bill by a near party line vote. The bill increases taxes on the wealthy, increases taxes on corporate profits, funds universal preschool, child care, and child tax credits, and eventually dismantles fossil fuels. Democrats celebrated on the House floor after the vote with cheers and chants. The Bill as is, is not expected to pass the Senate. Is this the right plan for America's future? Also, on yet another speech bungle, Joe Biden called Satchel Paige, "The Great Negro" at a speech at Arlington National Cemetery on Veterans Day.l. while trying to mention Black Americans sacrifices for the country. No media outcry. Is Biden fit for office? Finally, a whistle blower has come forward with a memo showing coordination between the the DOJ and White House to tag as domestic terrorists parents that are challenging public school curriculums at School Board meetings. The contradicts Attorney General Merrick Garland's sworn testimony before Congress. Should Garland resign? Please join the discussion at 10:00 AM. The call-in number is 347-308-8933. Your input is essential.
