Imani Webb (born March 6, 2000) is a spoken word artist, blogger, motivational speaker, and charismatic preacher. Born in Naperville, Illinois, she is the daughter of immigrants. Her father (Errold Webb) was born in Jamaica, and her mother (Nadine Webb) was born in Britain. Imani is the second eldest of four children. She has an older brother, Nathan, and two younger sisters, Sophia and Danyelle.
Family and friends also call her Mani, her childhood nickname. Growing up, she was raised in a Christian household, and always had a gift for writing. In 5th grade, she won a county-wide writing contest, bringing recognition to her school, Loganville Elementary. In middle school, she began writing stories for fun in her spare time. Later on, in high school, she came across the hobby of spoken word poetry, winning 4th place in her church talent show.
In college, since 2020, she began having various speaking engagements, live poetry performances, and preaching at international church conferences. She has performed poems for business seminars, churches, birthdays, college and university graduations.
Her blog, imaniwebbsblog.com, has been described to be more than just a blog website, but a movement, combining top headlining news topics from around the world with an inspiring Christian perspective. It has reached over 30 nations around the globe.
Imani Webb is also a beauty and fashion enthusiast, as well as a mental health advocate. She has been passionate about natural hair, makeup and fashion since high school. Webb also enjoys travel, exercise, drawing, and playing with her dog, London, in her free-time.
