This week, TheDavidBowersAwards presents Norwegian pop star Roy Aleksander and Canadian contemporary roots/celtic band The Town Pants. Roy Aleksander is a 17-year-old Norwegian pop star whose music is his self-expression and is moving to the dance music world. His being inspired by the likes of Michael Jackson, Justin Bieber and Chris Brown helped him knowing that pop music is what he wants to work with. Roy's original compositions run the gamut of emotions and are earning him fans throughout Europe. The Town Pants have a two decade history as a contemporary Celtic group that rocks out. And, while Vancouver, BC isn't where you'd expect to find one of the finest Celtic music ensembles in the music world, their energy, enthusiasm and driving sound has won them fans and followers from North America to Norway! Their music will stay in your hearts and ears long after you first hear them. We also introduce you to a track from Tommy James' first new album in 10 years, 'Alive.' This is Tommy James as you've never heard him before! Listen on BlogTalkRadio Sunday at 2PM EDT/11AM Pacific/6PM UTC or on BlogTalkRadio archives ANYTIME. And please, re-post for your friends so they can listen, too.
