TheDavidBowersAwards presents The Hot Texas Swing Band

This week on TheDavidBowersAwards we present a great group from the Lone Star State who are keeping a Texas music tradition alive and putting a contemporary spin on it .... The Hot Texas Swing Band .... a kind of throwback to the Texas swing of the '40s and '50s with the feel of contemporary music.  Their music is guaranteed to set your toes to tapping and put you in a dancing mood.

And a SURPRISE appearance by 2Steel Girls who make an unscheduled appearance with new music which you'll hear here FIRST!

We also have new indie music from Neko Case and Alex Benjamin.  Neko Case, you may remember from The New ographers, in her solo debut.  And Alex Benjamin is an American singer-songwriter from Phoenix, Arizona. He is known for his songs "Paper Crown", "The Water Fountain", and "End of the Summer".
