Critics, Magazines Editors, Producers, Writers, Black Belts, Pioneers, History Generals of Sports Karate  and Legends have said and written that he may have been the best traditional Black Belt Kata performer in the history of the Sport, of course, we are talking of John Chung a protege of Grand Master Jhoon Rhee of Washington D.C and the Jhoon Rhee Institute of Tae Kwon Do .
Earring his Black Belt in 1974, Mr. Chung started blazing his path early.
One of his early tournaments Larry Bullard's Applacian Open in Boone North Carolina, early 70's
He would take first place to a second place, Bobby Tucker and the third went to the  Black Belt with more third places than anybody in the universe, lucky Hawaii Boi, lol
Mr. Chung would become great in the upcoming years being a threat in tournaments and getting stronger than others for he was gifted with a gift of I call "Sweet Humble Attitude", a Champion's Champion attitude in and out of the ring.

George with his "Lone Ranger and triple "Shot Gun Kicks" routine and then John with his Beethoven's Traditional flawless Kata!!
