AMAA Radio Network - Karen Eden Master of Inspiration
Master Karen Eden Herdman is a 6th degree martial arts master in the traditional Korean art of Tang Soo Do. Master Karen has written for and appeared in every major martial arts magazine in the country, including six cover shots of her own. She has appeared in two major Hollywood productions, including stunt work in Van Damme’s “Sudden Death,” and a feature role (News Anchor) in “Sworn to Justice” (Cynthia Rothrock, as seen on Showtime.)
Karen currently has 4 books out and writes two monthly karate columns (Taekwondo Times, Martial Arts Success.) She also has two martial art product lines available through Century Martial Arts, both which have sold around the world (I Am a Martial Artist; They Call Me Master…the book, apparel and gift items.) In addition, Karen is a former national tournament winner and world champion competitor (World Tang Soo Do Championships.) Karen Eden is also a broadcast journalist who has worked as a reporter and news desk anchor for NBC, FOX and PBS affiliates.
She has also appeared on CNN and reported for FOX National and Animal Planet. Master Karen currently teaches street youth and former gang-members in the under-privileged areas of Denver Colorado. She has recently been awarded her own day… “Karen Herdman Day.”
