Living and breathing Karate as a Junior Black Belt in the hey day of Texas Karate in the 70's and 80' was a tough job ,however someone did it and tonight in  this SPECIAL DOUBLE interview we will have two of the most popular sport karate stars of Texas and  grew up with the mentor-ship and influence of sport karate legends like J.Pat BurlesonJ.Pat Burleson, Jim Chote, Jim Butin, The Worley Brothers ,Larry Carnahan ,Carl Whitaker, and Demetrius "The Golden Greek" Havanas R.I.P.

They soon became their own identity and quickly became winner to this fight game we call sport karate . both started in a time when they were not many kids in karate and they would do what the adults went though in training , pretty amazing when you think about it working out with Chuck Loven or Fred Wren ,Dan was one of those kids who grew up to be a Texas Champion in the footsteps of all these great fighters by winning the Texas Karate Championships as a junior and then coming back and winning it as a adult.

Troy would learn to love Kick Boxing and be influence by some of Texas finest Kickboxing legends like Bylle "Jack "Jackson, Ray McCallum  and The Golden Greek.

Troy went on to break records and set standards ,one of the things that stand out about this champion  that peers ,writers. critics  and editors write about and comment on is he never steps back ,never!!!!
