The American Martial Arts Alliance Black History Salute to Oso Tayari Casel a living Martial Arts Legend and Willie the Bam Johnson
Mfundishi Tayari Casel is the founder and director of the Tayari Casel Martial Arts Academy, Inc.; an institution that researches, demonstrates and spreads the contribution Afrika and China have given to the international martial arts community while simultaneously furthering the appreciation of contemporary and traditional Afrikan and Chinese culture.
During his illustrious tournament career he ranked in the “Top Ten Black Belts in the USA” for over a decade, S.T.A.R. Rated # 1 in the fall of 1980 and he has won in some of the most prestigious competitive arenas in North America, such as: the Battle of Atlanta, Diamond Nationals, Superstar Nationals, AKA Grand Nationals, Top Ten National, Bare Knuckle Knock Out Championship and Nevada State Grand Championship.
Willie "The Bam" Johnson is a master WuShu practisioner and UMAC World Champion. Willie holds a 7th degree black belt in Karate / Kang Du Kwon, a 5th degree black belt in Shaolin Wushu Kung Fu and a 1st degree black belt in Karate / Death Ke Do. Willie has now over 25 years of experience. He now teaches through his school, but also makes videos and writes books. He teaches Kung Fu, but also acrobatics for movie and TV. Some impressive stats are: 7-time U.M.A.C. World Champion 2-time All American Champion The first nationally ranked Triple Crown martial arts champion Black Belt Hall of Fame Kung Fu Instructor of the Year 2000 Martial arts Hall of Fame in 1997 and many, many more.
