Helping Others Obtain Destiny: Inspiring Youth In The ‘Hood

Young people represent a society's greatest potential. Today we join in a program coordinated by Project HOOD, which stands for Helping Others Obtain Destiny, created to inspire young people to excel beyond the 'hood and reach their highest potential. We'll talk to Arenda Troutman, Director of Government and Community Affairs. She has arranged this presentation by the Cook County Clerk's office to help young homeowners know how to avoid losing their homes and putting their families in peril. Young people often do not know how to manage the homes they receive after their parents' transition, and make costly mistakes.
