The name "Jezebel" from the Bible is well known, even among people who do not profess the Christian faith, as a name signifying a woman of 'low" morals who uses her sexuality to seduce men for entrapment or selfish gain. How did female sexuality, beauty and femininity get such a negative rap? What should women today do to reverse this connotation of female energy as something to be feared and despised by men? How should we express our femininity so that our daughters understand its positive expression?
