Newly confirmed Supreme Court of the United States Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson has quite a journey in store as the first African American female on the U.S. Supreme Court. What challenges will she face as a judge? Are the expectations of many that she can reverse U.S. racist policies unrealistic? Cook County Judicial Candidate and Family Law Attorney Wende Williams joins us today in the second hour to give a perspective on what the job of a judge truly entails, and the challenge of affecting public policy through the judicial system. In our first hour, we join an international meeting of pastors and an address by HWPL Chairman Man Hee Lee, live from South Korea. What can church leaders do to effectively bring peace to their communities, beyond giving a weekly sermon inside the church building? How can the church positively influence governments to move toward peaceful resolution to conflicts?
