Fatherhood: Are Religions Helping Men Form Families With Women?

Marriages are becoming more difficult to maintain in today's western culture, and many children are born into families where fathers are absent physically, emotionally, and financially. What are we teaching boys about fatherhood and their crucial role in the care and protection of children? Are religious teaching having any effect? Are the traditional teachings about sin, sex, and submission so obsolete that they actually interfere with the forming of healthy, loving relationships between men and women
