What Power Does The President Have To End Racial Injustice?

Since America's inception, Black people have watched Presidential elections with the belief that the right person in office could transform the country. Lincoln was known as The Great Emancipator and Franklin D. Roosevelt was known for his programs to provide for the poor. But what power do we believe the President really has to stop systemic race based injustice?
