MEN ONLY Discussion: How Did Your Relationship With Your Mother Affect You?

Our mother's have a major impact on the development of our self esteem, self confidence, and sense of self worth. For a son, his mother is the role model for all other women in his life. He learns by observation what the relationship between a man and a woman should look like. In this edtion of the MEN ONLY Roundtable Discussion, the women would like to know:

1. What was your relationship with your mother like? Was she mild mannered? Or aggressive? Was she complimentary?Or critical?

2. Describe the relationship between your father and your mother: What things did you strive to imitate in your marriage? What things did you consciously avoid in your marriage?

3. What traits do you find yourself drawn to in women that remind you of your mother - both good and bad traits?
