We are continuing the discussion during this GLOBAL PEACE SUMMIT 2020 Part II, acknowledgin this first day of Kwanzaa on which is Umoja, in the Swahili language meaning Unity. The 7 Principles of Kwznzaa is,called the Nguzo Saba.   It is an American Celebration, not created in Africa, but uses African symbols and words that is meant to strengthen the family and the community.  The focus is to have a different Principles for each day.  The first day is represented by lighting a black candle for unity.  The African word for that is Umoja.  The other 6 candles, 3 red and 3 black, are lit on alternate days.  The words are Kujichagulia=Self- Determination- Red, Nia=Purpose-Green, Ujima=Collective Work and Responsibility-Red, Kuumba=Creativity-Green, Ujamaa=Cooperative Economics- Red and Imani=Faith-Green.  Biblical Scriptures related to Kwanzaa Principles:  Umoja - Ephesians 4:2, 4.4, 4:13 and Psalms 133:1; Kujichagulia - 1 Peter 2:5, 2:9; Umija - Genesis 4:9; Ujamaa - Acts 2:44, 2:45; Nia - Psalms 20:4, Romans 5:10, 8:28 & 2 Corinithians 9:7; kuumba - Luke 12:48, James 1:22-25 and Galatians 5:22-25; Imani - Matthew 22:39 and Hebrews 11:1.  Pastor St, John Chisum of Gifts from God Ministry, a former CPS School Teacher, created the curriculum based on the Nguzo Saba as it relates to the Bible. We must be United in our agreement to live by spiritual principles in order to bring peace. So now let us have a dialogue between those in conflict, members of the police, citizens violated by the police, and citizens formerly incarcerated for crimes against others. In our 1:00 hour we'll learn how NonViolent communication aid in unity and peace
