Why do people hate others who appear to look different than them? Racial prejudice is learned behavior, based on irrational fear that someone belonging to another group will inflict physical harm on oneself.  We must choose to teach a different philosophy to our children. Today educator Mamadee, one of our Saturday hosts, discusses an initiative to put a commemorative day for Dr. King's movement for peace and racial justice on the official school calendar. On this January 15, Dr. Martin Luther King's birthday, we connect our listeners to the global movement to raise consciousness and bring humanity to a state of peace
