Let’s Talk About It With Myeka: Can Basketball Games Stop Gun Violence?

The organizers of A Chance For Life Project were honored yesterday at the Cook County Board Meeting by Board President Toni Preckwinkle with a special Resolution praising their efforts to stop gun violence through a series of basketball tournaments. Saturday September 28 kicks off this special project with a Peace Rally and Youth Summit in Cole Park. Todaywe’ll talk to some of the individuals that are a part of A Chance For Life Project, to find out how sports can diffuse gun violence and how the people who are the perpetrators of violence can be convinced to participate in conflict resolution sessions.
