Dr. Gail B. Frazier Leads Movement To End The “Disease” of Violence

When cells become misshapen in our bodies, we call it Cancer - a disease. When viruses attack our internal organs, when we develop measles, polio, emphysema, we call the effects of these attacks “diseases.” Violence, the physical attack of one human being upon another, is a disease. It is not a natural, healthy state of being. Today we join a gathering led by Dr. Gail B. Frazierto create legislation identifying violence as a disease, to enable the necessary resources to be employed in order to defeat it
