As we continue to celebrate "Women's History Month" today we want to take a serious look at the global status of women, not to bemoan how badly we are treated, but to take responsibility for creating a truly egalitarian society, based on our own level of self esteem and sense of self worth. Are we raising our sons to see themselves as superior to women? Are we raising our daughters to see themselves as less important than men? Are we allowing ourselves as women to "compete" for the love of a man, willing to degrade ourselves to any level in the process? It's time to stop! Globally, women have accepted and perpetuated cultural behaviors that demean women, often out of erroneous religious belief systems that teach "God said so." Sisters, that's a lie. Be bold enough to say it out loud, and lets create the truly loving society that this Earth was made to support, and let us stop accepting and perpetuating belief systems that are hurtful to the cause of peace, harmony, cooperation, mutual respect and love.  Our guest today is Nigerian TV host and Program Manager, Ganiyat Omotola Ashiru.
