Ron Carter, Publisher of Chicago Street Journal and Political Analyst, joins us today to give his perspective on the race for Mayor of the City of Chicago. With 14 candidates vying for the top spot, the city is truly up for grabs. Chicago is one of the nation’s  most racially polarized cities. The current contest includes six white males, one Hispanic male, one Hispanic female, three black females and three black males. Will people vote according to race? Will they vote according to gender? What are the real differences between candidates on issues such as crime, education, and economic development? How might the outcome of this election affect the city’s residents?
