A Culture of Contempt: How Should We Redefine Female Sexuality?

The Bill Cosby case and so many others like it exposes an underlying culture of contempt for women that has existed for centuries. This sickness has come to the surface in order for us to recognize it and heal it, so that we may create a new culture of healthy respect for human sexuality. Young men are taught that sex is a sport and women are things you can use if you have enough money and power. Women are taught that they are responsible for men’s behavior and if they are attractive they should expect to be assaulted. What kind of insanity is this? It’s time to create a new culture of mutual value of men and women and above all, a proper understanding and respect for the spiritual act of bonding expressed through the beautyof sexual intimacy.
