Violence is such a regular daily occurrence in U.S. cities that many mothers fear for their son’s lives each day they leave the house. Between gang wars and police shootings, the life expectancy of black males seems to have decreased dramatically. Young men under thirty are purchasing life insurance policies. Funeral homes are receiving requests for burial insurance for teenagers not yet out of high school! What is wrong with this picture? How do we remove the climate of fear and allow our sons to grow into the husbands and fathers they need to be
