Is Reconciliation and Remarriage After Divorce Possible?

During this past election season, a suggestion was made that laws be introduced to strengthen families. The high rate of divorce, and the high percentage of unformed families - the “Baby Daddy” “Baby Mama”  syndrome- keeps communities unstable. What follows broken families is poverty, crime, lack of safety and security and high rates of incarceration.  Should we try to help broken families reconcile? Is it possible to remarry after a divorce?
