Author Octavia Reese, a member of the Soulful Chicago Book Fair, joins Asadah at the Chicago Public Library's Litfest as part of a special Black History Month program being held throughout the month of February, featuring presentations by some outstanding black authors. Today Octavia, a former Miss Michigan, will share her story and give us a glimpse of what inspired the book "The Hibouleans: Bad Day" which she will present this week at the Harold Washington Library at 400 S.State Street in Chicago. For more info on the book go to octaviareese.com.
