Add some Soul to your holiday season, take your family to the Soulful Chicago Kwanzaa Book Fair! Our guest today is author, motivational speaker and founder of the Soulful Chicago Book Fair Asadah Kirkland, to tell us about the exciting event coming to the AMC Center at 4421 S. State Street, Chicago on Saturday December 16, 2017, 10am to 6pm. The Kwanzaa Book Fair will feature 50 black authors, storytelling, music, and great food, as it promotes literacy and appreciation of culture.  We’ll also discuss Asadah’s book “Beating Black Kids” and it’s impact on our perspective of how to best “discipline” our children.
