”If You Fail to Plan, then You Plan to Fail.”  So the saying goes. Success is the result of a series of calculated decisions, not based on luck or being born into a rich family. It’s easy to fail at something and point to factors beyond your control, such as someone else’s behavior. But what about your own? What are you believing about yourself that causes you to sabotage your own success? Do you think you’re too dumb?  Too fat? Too young? Too old? Too ugly? Too black? Too poor? These things may have been said to you in childhood, leaving an indelible mark on your mind, creating a subconscious belief in your own unworthiness, making you make choices that guarantee failure. Why are you CHOOSING to fail? Today we’ll examine behaviors that lead to failure, and dismantle the notion that whites, blacks, foreigners, your neighbors, your co-workers or anybody besides yourself is responsible for your achievement in life.
