HEALTH AND WELLNESS WITH VIYAHTA-The Prison Ashram Project

Viyahta welcomes the founder of THE PRISON ASHRAM PROJECT, SITA LOZOFF, Spiritual Director. And CATHERINE DUMAS, Executive Director will also join us to share the amazing journey that led to this unique ministry.  In 1973 Bo and Sita Lozoff felt a personal connection with the prison population because of a relative who was incarcerated.  They teamed up with Ram Dass to reply to mail from inmates and the Prison Ashram project was born.  In 1987 HUMAN KINDNESS FOUNDATION was founded to operate Prison Ashram Project. The book WE'RE ALL DOING TIME, a guide for getting free, by Bo Lozoff is available for free to any incarcerated person.
