Are Scriptures That Demean Women Really "Revelations From God" or Men's Lies?

Every living soul is an expression of Divine energy. There are no people that are "from God" and others "from the Devil." Some are ust lacking in the light of understading, so they do things tht are destructive to themselves and others until they become enlightened. This is the purpose of revelation, to enlightened those who are mistaken in their understanding.  Now, this thought has been challenged by many who like to believe their particular religion, race, or sex is favored by our Creator. As long as that belief exists, then there is no pathway to harmonious living. If you believe anyone is naturally "unfavored" by God, you will not treat them fairly. So, how is it that all religious beliefs teach that women are of lesser value than men? Women, is God really telling you this in your prayers? Or are you going along with this idea because of social pressure? Are you willing to challenge and correct what is wrong in our spiritual beliefs, so that we, the mothers, can teach our children respect for all life?
