A Mass Celebration Of Graduation: Are Our Young Men Prepared to Lead The World?

Dr. Phillip Jackson, Founder of The Black Star Project, discusses the upcoming Mass Black Male Graduation, celebrating Kindergarten, Elementary School, High School and College 2017 graduates to be held Saturday, June 24th in Chicago at the Metropitan Apostolic Community Church at 4100 South King Drive from 10:30am to 12:30am. Keynote speakers will be radio personality Maze Jackson and television news reporter Charles Thomas. Dr. Jackson examines the impact of how a community encourages youth, particularly black boys, to strive for higher education. Are we preparing our youth to use their skills to transform the world as it is into the way it should be? Are we encouraging black boys to be leaders and independent thinkers?
