And Still I Rise: Bahati Benjamin Unleashes Female Creativity Through BALEBE

Maya Angelou, the phenomenal woman known for her autobiographies, poetry, dance, songs and stage plays expressed unlimited creative energy of a woman whose spirit is free. Bahati Benjamin, founder of BALEBE, is  bringing that spirit of unleased feminine creativity from the East Coast to Chicago in a special program to be held Sunday April 9th at the Courtyard, 6610 S. Cicero Avenue. Today she discusses the ancient cultural art of beautifying oneself with beads and how the celebration and appreciation of natural beauty can raise women's self esteem.
