"JUSTICE and the African American Experience" is the title of an upcoming Black History Program presented at the AMC Center in Chicago, 4421 S. State Street, Saturday February 25, 2016 from 11:00 to 3:00. As the various presenters take a look at how justice has been at the root of the conflict in America, they also look at the triumps won as a result of collective strategies and actions that changed the social, political and economic landscape. Now that Muslims have become the new targeted population affected by widespread fear, negative propaganda, and discrimination, immigrant Muslim communites are more closely identifying with the African American struggle for justice in America. Our guests today are Imam Azam Akram of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, which is hosting the upcoming Black History Month event.
