Is it difficult to parent while leading a public life? Many praised President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama for the excellent example they set as parents while in the White House. The President road to school with his daughters in the morning, Michelle's mother continued her role as Grandma in the White House, watching over the girls and their development. Michelle herself continued to be a strict household manager, making the girls do their homework and make their own beds. The crowd observed that Sasha was absent at the Chicago Farewell Address Tuesday evening. She was home studying for an important test Wednesday morning. How's that for tough, responsible parenting?
