Memorial Day, an American holiday, is observed on the last Monday of May. It was formerly known as Decoration Day and commemorates all men and women, who have died in military service for the United States. Many people visit cemeteries and memorials on Memorial Day and it is traditionally seen as the start of the summer season. It officially became a national holiday in 1971.  This upcoming Monday is Memorial Day and as we honor the lives of those who have died in military service, isn't it time that we abolish the tradition of war? Today we want to examine the business of war, those who purposely instigate it, all the companies that profit from it, the families that are destroyed by it, the shortage of able young men created by it,and how we, as a human family, have the power to choose to eliminate it and all of its destructive consequences from our culture.  Our guest is author, photographer and Korean war veteran Curtis "Kojo" Morrow.
