Getting put out of your apartment for non payment of rent or losing your house to foreclosure is possibly one of the most stressful things that can happen in a person's life. We see poor, raggedy beggars living in the street in so called "Third World" countries. But how can one of the world's richest nations, how can any decent society, have people living in the streets in all kinds of weather, especially when there are buildings available in which to live? A sudden job loss, a prolonged illness, or a building owner's decision to raise the rent can render a family unable to pay and in danger of eviction. This is in humane.
