The Flint Michigan water poisoning crisis points to some sinister realities. There was a deliberate decision to let people drink water made undrinkable by decades of dumping from Detroit auto companies. Decades of poisoning has resulted in physical illnesses and mental dysfunction among the population and someone is to blame for deciding to slowly kill the people. Who should pay the price for genocide? And how should the problem be fixed?  Presidential candidate are mentioning Flint as a GAG (Guaranteed Applause Getter), promising to change things, but really saying nothing substantial. When corporated interests poison land and water among people they deem to be expendable, who pays the price? This is what American industry is doing to people abroad, and nothing is said as long as the beneficiaries of industrial waste -  in this case, the auto buyers who don't question how water in Flint got polluted and pipes are carrying lead laced water to homes - are satisfied and living comfortably? Science and technology companiesn must focus on the waste created by current ways of manufacturing and must seek ways to clean up hazardous sites that happen to affect the lies of lower income people, both in America and abroad. Or perhaps, the real problem is that they see the victims of pollution as expendable people whose lives don't matter anyway. So, how do we fix that problem? Our guest, environmental activist Jennifer Romero discusses the hidden agenda of land acquisition underlying the Flint tragedy. Former Water Reclamation Commissioner
